All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 3 are entitled to receive universal free school meals regardless of your income. Even if your child is in one of these year groups, you may still be eligible to claim free school meals. Please speak to a member of office staff for an application form.
From Year 3 onwards, school meals are charged at £2.65 per day.

If you have one of the qualifying incomes, it will help the school if you tell them. By applying, the school can receive extra funding to buy school resources and equipment. Application forms are available from the school office. If you require assistance completing this form, please liaise with Mrs Irshad.
If you would prefer to provide your child's lunch, you may do so. We are a healthy school; therefore we have guidelines on what your child can bring to school for their lunch. The School Food Standards, as set by the Government, recommend providing meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, salad, fruit and water. Drinks with added sugar, crisps, chocolate and sweets are not recommended as part of a healthy diet.
At Cravenwood Primary Academy, we provide healthy, balanced school meals with a menu that changes each term. To view a sample menu, click here.
